Chintz Covered Sugar Bowl

The original chintz designs were Indian cotton prints, imported into England in the early 1600s. English textile makers and then potters soon adopted the style, and its popularity continued to grow until the 1970s, when it became "old-fashioned."
Today chintz is back. These pieces are hand-finished by Royal Albert in 22-carat gold.
